Raised in Brooklyn, NY, I was introduced to art at eight years old and took classes in a brownstone basement. Transitioning to high school, I applied and got accepted to the High School of Art and Design in NYC after submitting a handmade portfolio. Despite pursuing a different career path for 22 years on Wall Street and 20 years in the energy industry in Houston, TX, I rekindled my passion for art in 2017. I delved into self-teaching various art forms including digital, abstract, sculpting, fabric, pottery, glass, paper, and Fumage (soot). Currently, I am a member of Archway Gallery in Houston, TX, and Ardest Gallery in The Woodlands, TX. Gratefully, I have been chosen to participate in multiple Juried Shows. This artistic journey is just starting.
